frequently asked questions
what is your payment policy?
At the beginning of a new relationship, we use a 50/50 payment policy. Typically, we ask that you put down 50% of the project price to start the clock. The remaining 50% is due when you receive the completed first draft.
Once we’ve established an ongoing routine, you will be billed at the end of the month for all services completed that month.
If you need a more flexible payment plan, just ask! Mention it during your free consultation call and we can create a plan that works for both of us.
what is your turnaround time?
For most projects, we return your first draft within two weeks. For larger projects, we’ll determine a reasonable deadline together.
what if I’m not in love with the first draft?
We offer two rounds of edits with every project. We do ask that you request specific edits within 7 days of receiving the first draft. It usually takes us about 2 business days to complete revisions and edits.
Above all, we want you to be in love with the final draft. We’ll do whatever we can to make sure the content exceeds your expectations.
do you have a project minimum?
Yes! Our project minimum is $1000. If you’re interested in something smaller, please still reach out! We’re happy to recommend additional useful services that you can take advantage of to maximize your marketing goals.
At this time, we are only offering website copy, lead magnets, and blog packages as a la carte services. Other types of content (such as email newsletters and social media posts) are only offered in ongoing retainer contracts that are packaged with a blog bundle.
can you work with my graphic or web designer?
Absolutely! We love collaboration and teamwork, and that doesn’t stop with just your web designer. We’re happy to work with any professionals on your team as long as we develop a streamlined communication process and workflow.
can you recommend a graphic or web designer?
Absolutely. We know lots of talented people.
do you post blogs directly to my website?
For an extra charge, we may offer content deployment services on certain web hosting platforms. If this is something you’re interested in, please inquire about pricing. We also recommend working with our agency partner, House of Work, for website maintenance and content posting needs.
how many blog posts do you recommend per month?
We recommend 4 at a minimum, with 8 being ideal. SEO research shows that consistent content results in the best Google rankings and anything less might be… a waste of time (unfortunately).
Worried you don’t have enough ideas to generate that much content? Fear not. That’s why we’re here. We read, we research, and we have enough ideas to know what content your audience is hungry for.
